INTERIM FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (extended 3 month contract)  

Reporting to the Finance Director solely responsible for the day-to-day running of the department; currently 9 employees in the company.

 
  • Supporting the Financial Director in all matters.
  • Maintaining all books of account.
  • Raising and paying invoices, expenses and other amounts due.
  • Managing the payroll using SAGE.
  • Producing full monthly management accounts with commentary for the Board.
  • Managing VAT returns.
  • Paying the Inland Revenue.
  • Producing year end file for the auditors.
  • Filing of annual returns for group companies.
  • Reconciling all balance sheet accounts.
  • Analysing all profit and loss accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Preparing P11ds.

INTERIM GROUP FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT (3 month contract)  

To provide accounting support to the Financial Accounting Department, as directed by the Group Finance Manager, in this multi site company.

 
  • Maintaining the Fixed Assets register for the whole Group.
  • Completing all balance sheet reconciliations ensuring full support and justification.
  • Implementing reporting requirements under IFRS.
  • Producing UK Statutory Accounts under UK GAAP for dormant companies.
  • Assisting in the production of the "glossy" accounts for the group.
  • Producing group VAT returns.
  • Using "Open Accounts" system.
