GROUP ACCOUNTANT

Reporting to the Group Financial Director, responsible for the Group's administrative, secretarial and financial reporting.
  • Maintaining Holding Company's Books of Account, preparing monthly management accounts in standard Group format.
  • Maintaining divested Company's Books of Accounts using Sage and preparing monthly management accounts in standard Group format.
  • Organising the annual audit, production and filing of all Group statutory accounts.
  • All Company Secretarial matters as required by Companies House.
  • Administration of Group VAT scheme.
  • Organising and consolidating agreed budgets and associated processes.
  • Production and ongoing maintenance of the Group Accounting Policy and Procedures Manual and ensuring compliance across the Group.
  • Obtaining quotes, ordering cars and vans, dealing with motor insurance claims, and maintaining mileage logs for the company’s fleet of vehicles.
  • Production of P11D forms for subsidiaries using dedicated software.
  • Managing a range of corporate financial projects.
Achievements Include:
  • Installed the CRBFL reporting format for the Holding Company.
  • Selected to take over and manage the Group fleet management department.
  • Assisted the Group FD to produce a set of half yearly draft statutory accounts.
